Vijay Gakhar's Obituary
Vijay Kumar Gakhar was born in in Khanawal, India on April 24, 1946. After Indo-pak partition along with his family he moved to Hissar, Haryana in India. After finishing his education in Hissar he joined the Indian Airforce. He started his service from northeast India in Assam. After finishing his training he was transferred to Delhi.In 1972, he married his soulmate Miss Veena Grover in Deolali Military Cantonment, Nasik. Soon after that they moved to Delhi and started their 45 years companionship. In 1974, he finished his in the Indian Airforce and worked with a custom clearing agent for a couple of years. He later went on to start his own custom clearing agency named Global Airfreight Pvt. Ltd.His absence is not just a loss for family and friends, but also for the community. He was a father to many, a friend but a role model for everyone around him. He had a very large heart and was always looking out for everyone and helped everyone in need regardless whether he put out his own family.He was the life of the party and the center of key decisions that were taken around him. His ideology in life was not just to survive, but to thrive! And do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour but always with Style.He lived like a King and died like one always helping others but never on the receiving end!His legacy will continue far beyond these borders and for many generations to follow!May we be so lucky to live such a rich and full filled life…
