Vicky Cagle's Obituary
Vicky Sue Cagle Resident of Fremont Jan. 5, 1953 – Feb. 19, 2012 Vicky passed away in the early morning on February 19th after a courageous 25 year battle with MS. Her bright smile and contagious laugh will be missed by all who knew her. Vicky was born in Washington state and raised in the bay area. She worked in electronics her entire career until MS rendered her unable to work. She loved, among other things, to watch Days of our Lives and I Love Lucy, go on bike rides with her husband Jim (which included 6 MS fundraising events), and to spend time with her loving family. Vicky is survived by her committed husband Jim Cagle; loving children Victoria Kennedy, James Cagle, and Mandy Cagle; devoted mother Kathryn Martin, and doting sister Kelly Hillman. She was also a caring aunt to Brandon, Chris, Brittany, Nick, and Sofia as well as an amazing grandma to Megan, Josh, Taylor, Aaron, Brayden, and Ryan. Vicky was also a special sister in law, niece, cousin, and friend to many more. She will be missed more than any words can express. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward on Friday, February 24th from 5-9 PM.. Vicky’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25th at 1:30 PM at Crossroads Church in Fremont with a reception to follow.
