Thank you Dr. Maris. He always told me how much he liked you. And, I’d like to thank you for the wonderful way that Hospice help me through these tough times.
I was blessed to be Vernon’s doctor for the past decade or so. I so loved his exuberance and will. Every time I saw him he would say, “Doctor Maris I’m going to walk down the hall all by myself.” I never saw him walk, but I always saw him soar.
