Velma Tait, 85, a resident of Hayward for 13 years, entered into rest in Fremont on Saturday, July 20, 2002. She was born in Aurora, Nebraska on August 6, 1916. Velma was dedicated to her family and church. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.She is survived by her loving daughter, Vicki Knox and her husband Jerry Knox of Fremont. Dear sister of Elva Sutherland of San Lorenzo and Florence Fogt of Hayward.The caring grandmother of Chris Knox and his wife, Theresa Knox and Debby Ward and her husband, Peter Ward, and great grandmother of Matthew and Vanessa Knox.Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 11:00AM, Saturday, July 27, 2002 in the Reflection Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.
