Valzie S. Nash a San Leandro resident entered into rest Thursday, August 23, 2001 in Alexandria, LA. Born in Zimmerman, LA on December 18, 1920, she was 80 years of age. Valzie was a homemaker, she enjoyed camping, traveling, in the Good Sams and C.B. Clubs. She was a member of the Halcyon Baptist Church in San Leandro.Loving mother of Juanita Hart of Mansura, LA. Devoted grandmother of two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband of 47 years, Allen W. Nash and her son Charles A. Nash preceded her in death.Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2001 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral service Thursday, August 30, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home."Service of Marked Distinction"
