Our sweet val...or as we called her aunt Valerie through a blessed marriage between my brother Richard and nellie (vals sister). Our sweet memories of aunt Valerie are of ones of a sweet quiet lady with a strong personality but always having a big heart for always helping in cooking...cleaning...or just being by you keeping you company!
We always enjoyed our family visits with her during the holidays and hearing her stories about life and her strength in God.
Most i enjoyed hearing her talk was about my brother richard as her sweet Richard as she always labeled him to us with his sweet personality she enjoyed...but it was always his beautiful voice she loved to hear him sing at the house or in the church play productions. She always said his voice was like a sweet angel as she adored him and loved him very much before he went to heaven. Richard also adored sweet val as he called her and made sure that nellie and him took good care of whatever needs she needed until richard went home to heaven. Val loved Richard's heavenly voice and im sure now she is right beside richard in heaven as he is serenading her in heavens mansions and both are enjoying singing there voices in heavens choir!
We will definitely miss our sweet aunt val here on earth but knowing we will be reunited forever in heaven! I give my support and love to her sister nellie who took on the unconditional love of caring for her sister 24/7 ...a dedication of sisterly love that no bond can ever break as God guided nellie in caring for val with the best love and support she gave until God told val to come home and said welcome home good faithful servant!
