Ulysses Ratti's Obituary
Ulysses P. Ratti Jan. 31, 1924 Dec. 31, 2009 Resident of Oakland Beloved husband of Irene Ratti, caring brother of Linda, Reno, Stella, Ralph, Robert, and Nancy. Predeceased by sons, James & Jeffrey, devoted father of Julios and Jerry, and cherished grandfather of Steven, James, Nick, Chris, John, Melissa, Josh, and Angela and 11 great grandchildren. Ulysses was born in Nevada and served in the U.S. Navy from 1941 to 1963 and then worked 25 years for the U.S. Postal Service in Hayward. He enjoyed traveling and his passion was running. He will be missed very much by all who knew and loved him. Friends and family are invited to a funeral service on Thursday, Jan. 7th at 10:00am and/or visitation Wednesday, 4:30-8:30pm at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Men’s Center, St. Vincent dePaul would be greatly appreciated.
