U Tin Maung Sein( July 03, 1938 – December 03, 2017 ) U Tin Maung Sein of Newark, California, passed away on December 3, 2017 in Washington Hospital, Fremont, California, at the age of 79. Viewing and Memorial Service will be on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at The Chapel of Chimes, Union City, California, beginning at 9 AM. Burial will follow at 12 PM at The Chapel of Chimes. U Tin Maung Sein was born in Dawei, Burma, on July 3, 1938, to his parents U Ho Sein and Daw Eng Sein. He married Stella Sein Daughter of U EE Hone and Daw Mya Mya on March 25, 1969 in Rangoon, Burma. He graduated from Rangoon University, later served as a Major in the Burmese Air Force. He immigrated to the United States in 2003 after his retirement and spent time with his children and grandchildren. U Tin Maung Sein is preceded in death by his father, U Ho Sein, mother Daw Eng Sein, father-in-law, U Ee Hone, mother-in-law, Daw Mya Mya, brother-in-law, U Tin Win, and sister-in-law, Daw Marla Nay Win.U Tin Maung Sein is survived by his wife, Stella Sein (aka) Daw Kyu Kyu, four daughters and sons-in-law, Sandi Lim-Byron Lim, Yuzana Tin-Aung Hlaing, Annie Amara Sein-Thet Win Kyaw, and Nancy Dewi Sein, four brothers and five sisters, U Yin Maung Sein-Daw Myint Myint Aye, Daw Nyunt Nyunt Sein, Daw Khin Khin Sein, U Khin Maung Sein-San San Kyu, Daw Khin Khin Su-U Zaw Win, U Aung Thet, U Tin Maung Aye, Daw Yin Yin Sein, Daw Cho Cho Ma-U Aung Kyaw Htoo, seven grandchildren, Yumyat Thwe, Min Thant Aung, Aaron Lim, Tamara Kyaw, Sara Lim, Tyra Kyaw, and Shane Kyaw.The family of U Tin Maung Sein wishes to extend our sincere thanks to family, friends, doctors, nurses, and staffs at Washington hospital.
