Trinidad N. Marin's Obituary
Trinidad N. Marin Resident of Fremont Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2012 surrounded by family. He was 93 years old. Born in Michoac n, Mexico, Trinidad came to California in the early 1940s. He had various occupations, including working on farms and in shipyards, and masonry work. Trinidad was a dedicated worker for General Motors beginning in 1946 and put in nearly 40 years before retiring. He had an amazing attendance record with GM, missing only one day of work in nearly 40 years. He was highly respected by his management team. Trinidad loved music, traveling, and gardening to name a few. His travels included trips throughout Mexico, the United States, and Australia. His prized roses were always kept in meticulous condition and he was happiest when surrounded by music. Trinidad had a passion for life and a “never give up” attitude. He was a fighter, even until his final days. Trinidad was married to his beautiful wife Juanita Marin for over 50 years. They are together in the Hands of the Lord. The immediate family includes the following: Daughters – Alice Soto, Dolores Fernandez, Gloria Marin, Rosita Dijeau, and Linda Martinez; SonsDavid Marin, Daniel Marin, and George Marin. Family and friends are welcome to attend the following services at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward. Tuesday, April 24; 4:30 5:30, Viewing (family only); 5:30 9:00 (friends and family). Wednesday, April 25th, 10:00 a.m., “Celebration of Live Service.” Burial and reception to follow.
