Tony Sanchez's Obituary
Tony F. Sanchez Oct. 14, 1922 – Oct. 22, 2008 Resident of Hayward A loving husband, father, and grandfather, a generous friend and neighbor. Passed away peacefully at Kaiser Walnut Creek with his daughter Christine at his side. Born in Walnut Creek, and graduated from San Ramon Valley High in 1941. He proudly served with the US Navy in the pacific as a gunner’s mate during World War II. Preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Esther Sanchez. He is survived by his son William, daughter Christine, granddaughter Karla, and grandsons Michael, Austin, and Dalton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the museum of the San Ramon Valley, or the Hayward historical society. Services will be held Thursday October 30, 1:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward CA. 94544. Chapel of the Chimes 510-471-3363
