Tomas Pacio Gacayan a Fremont, CA resident entered into rest April 29, 2002 in Fremont. Born in Manila, Philippines on December 21, 1938, he was 63 years of age. He loved to fish and watch television (sports, San Francisco Giants and 49er's). He was an Engineering Draftsman for 20 years. He worked the last 10 years at Westing House and prior at Sherwin Williams for 5 years and prior for United Can Corp for 5 years. He also enjoyed gardening. Dearly beloved husband of Erlinda Gacayan for 37 years. Loving father of Marissa Gonzalez of San Leandro, CA, Elaine Ras of Castro Valley, CA, Gary Gacayan and Tony Gacayan of Fremont, CA. Dear brother of Angela Aguilar and Romeo Gacayan of Manila, PI. Devoted grandfather of three grandchildren; Ashley Gacayan and Hannah Ras of Castro Valley and Kyle Tanaka-Gacayan of Fremont. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2002 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Graveside service Thursday, May 2, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544."Service of Marked Distinction"
