Tip Tung Gin's Obituary
Tip Tung Gin a Hayward, California resident entered into rest Saturday, March 15, 2003 in Hayward. Born in Toyshan, Guong Doung, China on December 7, 1919, he was 83 years of age. He was a sports fisherman, who loved gardening, traveling (within the states and along the Pacific) and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also really enjoyed photographing many places, sites and objects. He worked as a clerk for 35 years for the Pacific Railroad Co.Dearly beloved husband of Fung Ming Gin for 55 years. Loving father of Lilly Chew of Castro Valley, CA, William Gin of Fremont, CA and Jack Gin of Hayward, CA. Devoted grandfather of four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 20, 2003 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. with an evening service at 7:00 p.m. at Bay Area Chinese Bible Church; 750 Fargo Street, San Leandro, CA 94579. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Friday, March 21, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.
