Mr. Tien-Yu Mao (08/15/1919 - 05/24/2021) 102 years
Was born in China, Zhejiang Province, JiangShan County; deceased in Montclair District, City of Oakland, California, United States of America.
In 1949 during the China Civil War, he and his family moved to Taiwan where he had built the famed New Asia America Transportation Enterprise which pioneered and established Taiwan’s International Trade Transportation landscape. He was elected as the prestigious President/Chairman of Taiwan Import and Export Business and Customs System Commission. Most of all, he was our dearest and most respected husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
In 2016, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle bestowed Mr.and Mrs.Tien -Yu Mao congratulatory letter in celebrating their 70th Wedding Anniversary. In 2019, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania, Congress Senator Dianne Feinstein, California Governor Gavin Newsom, joined with Oakland Mayor Libby Schaff, bestowed Proclamation to celebrate Mr. Tien-Yu Mao’s Centennial Birthday. The City of Oakland also recognized 09/13/2019 (Lunar Calendar 08/15/2019) as “Mr. Tien Yu Mao Day” to appreciate his life long achievement.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 75 years, King Chee Mao, by his 5 children, Lily, Wei-Wei, Ching-Ching, Bryan, and Robert, 3 son and daughter in law Jimmy, Yih, Ellen; by his 10 grandchildren and 4 spouses, Evan, Pei, Howard, Alice, Renee, Reva, Abe, Joyce, Charlie, Lorenzo, Alex, Tiffany, Aaron, and Chanel, by his 4 great grandchildren, Ashton, Dora, Annabelle, and Lorenzo Jr.
He was blessed with a long, healthy, fruitful and prosperous life. His legacy of discipline, honor, positive spirit, kindness, and wisdom will be carried forward by his descendants.
We love him immensely ! He will be missed eternally!

生於浙江省江山縣，卒於美國加州奧克蘭山蒙特瑞爾區 6100 Fairlane Drive.
1949年中國內戰從大陸到台灣，1985年退休到美國定居.
是受人尊崇敬佩的成功企業家，(新亞美航運公司，開創台灣國際通運先河，台灣進出口及報關公會主席）；更是我們最敬愛的丈夫，爸爸，祖父，外公，曾祖父外公.
2016年白宮歐巴馬總統及第一夫人米謝兒特致贈毛天佑先生夫人結婚七十週年紀念賀狀. 2019年白宮總統唐納川普及第一夫人米拉尼，國會參議員黛安范士丹，加州州長蓋文紐森，加州奧克蘭市長利比謝夫頒贈百歲壽辰賀狀. 市長並訂09/13/2019（農曆08/15/2019）為“毛天佑日”，表揚他一生為人表率的成就.
遺有愛他的: 結縭75年配偶毛金琦女士，. 5子女 (加3配偶）：毛莉莉，遲吉濱，毛薇薇，毛菁菁，章毅，毛承五，毛雲峯，金惠. 10孫子女 (加4配偶）：遲擎霄，徐佩，遲浩，李柏蓉，蔡雲妮，蔡雲喬，Abe Flinders, 章世珍，毛逸凡，Lorenzo Hutton, 毛逸夫，毛雨晴，毛雨林，毛雨虹. 4曾孫子女：遲睿，遲德安 ，遲蓓安，Lorenzo Hutton Jr. 及2待產曾孫子女.
蒙神恩典，福祿壽圓滿，福杯滿溢，現歸天家，安息主懷.
他的自律，認真，果斷，嚴謹，豁達，慈愛及智慧兼具的精神將永傳子孫. 我們對他的愛及感恩永不止息 ！
