Thomas Louis Trampetti's Obituary
Thomas “Tommy” Louis Trampetti, a loving husband, proud father, and loving grandfather (“Papa”) passed into God’s hands on April 28, 2019 at the age of 67 at his home in Castro Valley, California with his wife by his side. He was faithfully united in marriage to Debbie L. Trampetti on March 27th, 1988. Tommy was born in Oakland, California the only son of Addie & Lou Trampetti. When Tommy grew up, he enjoyed playing baseball, working out, and spending time with his friends. Tom was the epitome of hard work, dedication, loyalty and a life well-lived. Inspired by his Uncle Emil, who built an empire of hof braus and doughnut shops, Tommy worked through high school at Emil’s doughnut shop in Dublin. This afforded Tommy the opportunity to learn how to run his own business and he later purchased his uncle’s San Pablo location in 1975.Tommy found the greatest joys in food service by interacting with customers and making what he called “one helluva doughnut” and, ultimately, providing them with the type of hospitality that always kept them coming back. However, nothing compared to the joy Tommy found in spending time with his family while sitting back and observing them having fun. He loved cooking Italian sausages and spending quality time with his wife and grandkids. He is survived by his wife Debbie of Castro Valley, CA, four loving sons, Mike Trampetti (Emily) of Chicago, IL, Charlie Trampetti (Christy) of Sacramento, CA, Tony Trampetti (Estis) of Walnut Creek, CA, and Dalton Jiminez (Jennifer) of Sacramento, CA and five grandchildren, Dylan and Louis Trampetti, and Savannah, Kade and Braxton Jiminez; his aunt, Lorraine Hughes of Houston, TX; his cousin Robbie Hughes. In addition to his mother & father, Louis and Adeline, he was preceded in death by his aunts Emily Trampetti and Ottilia Jurief and uncles Emil Hoffman, Calvin Hoffman, Oscar Hoffman, and Dave Hoffman. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on at a later date and will be posted on his Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/tommy.trampetti)
