Mr Thomas C Ramirez's Obituary
Thomas C. Ramirez, 86, passed away on February 16, 2025 in Fremont, CA. Thomas was known for his intelligence, strength, caring nature and dedication to his family and Christian faith.
Thomas embarked on a fulfilling career in automotive manufacturing, beginning at the Fisher Body facility, then moving to the General Motors Manufacturing facility in Fremont, and retiring from the Fairfax facility in Kansas City, Kansas in 1990. Throughout his career, he was a proud member of the United Auto Workers (UAW).
Deeply rooted in his faith, Thomas was an active member of Templo Betania in Fremont, CA where he served as a Deacon, Usher and home Bible study leader. His commitment to his church and community was evident in his active participation and leadership.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Emma of 66 years. His sons and daughter-in-laws, Thomas (Cynthia), Dominic (Rachel), Daniel (Yvette) and Gabino (Paulina), nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and four siblings, Gabriel, Juanita, Silverio and Guadalupe.
A celebration of life service will be held at Templo Betania in Fremont on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 6:00 pm. A graveside service will follow on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Chapel of the Chimes at 1:00 PM. Thomas’s life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. Thomas has fought the good fight, he has finished the race.
