Thomas Albert Campbell11/14/1928-6/7/2011City of FremontBorn in Boston, Massachusetts to Daisy and James. Served 20 years in the US Army including 22 months continuous combat duty in Korea in the 1st Cavalry division from Fort Hood, Texas. His service continued in Japan, Germany and Oakland, CA. Upon retirement he was employed for 22 years by the Lawrence Livermore National Labs where he served as a union Job steward and later in various classified projects. Survived by wife Marina, children Tom (Kit), Marianne, Edith (Michael), Michael, Stephchildren Florencia, Maria Teresa, Luzviminda, Zenaida, sisters Shirley, Vivian, Pearl and numerous grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife of 46 years Marianne, brothers Neil, Leroy, William and Charles. Visitation June 12, 2011 9am-12 PM, Funeral Service 1:00 PM at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward.
