Thomas L. Bailey's Obituary
Thomas Lane Bailey passed away from natural causes on November 9, 2018 in San Leandro, California at the age of 71. Tom was born in Oakland, California and graduated from Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo. He served in the Navy Reserve and retired from PG&E after more than 30 years of service. Tom is survived by his children, Casey Rosecrans Stevens, Spencer Bailey, and Mathew Rosecrans; brothers, Richard and David Bailey; and grandchildren, Alyssa and Jake Camara and Julia Bailey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Thelma Bailey and wife, Susan Bailey. Tom enjoyed a friendly round of golf and watching Bay Area sports teams. Most importantly, he loved being an active presence in his beloved grandchildren’s lives. His family and friends will miss him greatly. A private funeral service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes/Hayward, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, 510-471-3363. The family invites donations in Thomas’ name to the American Cancer Society.
