Theresa Akin 90 of San Leandro, entered into rest at home on May 29th. Born Theresa "Tita" Thomas to Lawrence B. Thomas and Mary Naomi Kawelo Thomas, Honolulu, Oahu. Married Louis T Akin 1976, preceded her in death, 1994. Also preceded are 4 siblings: Lawrence B Thomas Jr. "Sonny Boy" (Dorothy B Moss) Kailua, Oahu. James Henry Thomas "Bolo" ( Betty Lou Decoito) Modesto, Ca. Verna P Thomas "Stinky" San Leandro, Ca. Charlotte L Ahnee, "Mela tootsie" Hayward, Ca. She leaves her sisters, Sheila A Decker of Chandler, Az. Mary "Darling" Neff, Jackson, Ca. A daughter, Patricia Daniel, (Donald) Tracy, Ca. 2 step child: Debbie Hibbs, (Keith ), Meridian, Id Timothy Akin, (Geniene) Boise, Id. 3 granddaughters, Angela Finato Crystal Finato Renee Finato Pinkler 4 step grandchild: Keith Hibbs, Graham Hibbs and Kristen Akin Gonzaga and Taylor Akin 17 great-grand child 15 Great-Great Grand Children, and many Nieces and Nephews. In the early1950's, She danced the hula and sang at the Tahitian Hut and The Tonga Room at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. 1960 /1970's she joined Seamans Union of the Pacific, Stewardess On the Lurline, Matson And President Lines. Time spent in Hawaii and Las Vegas. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and having many family gatherings. Her favorites in life were music, hula and a good Martini. A Hui Hou Aloha Nui Loa
