Thelma Mae Ferreira's Obituary
Former resident of Hayward Passed away in Gilroy on September 2, 2008. Dearly beloved wife of 54 years to the late Raymond Ferreira. Loving mother of Beverly Talavera and her husband Ernest, and Ramona Martinez. Devoted grand-mother of Raymond Talavera, Ernest Talavera III, Shawn Talavera, Arnold, Allan, James, and Janet Aranda, Gilbert Martinez III, and Jason Martinez, great grandmother of 21, and great-great-grand-mother of 2. Thelma was pre-deceased by her loving daughter Janice Ferreira (2007), and her loving son-in-law Gilbert Martinez Jr (2007). Thelma loved her family dearly; nothing made her happier than preparing and sharing the Sunday meal. She enjoyed working with many crafts, her favorite was dry flower arranging. Thelma and her husband were longtime members of the Metropolitan Yacht Club in Jack London Square. She will be greatly missed by ALL who knew and loved her. Friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday September 8, 2008 from 4:30 – 8:30PM, and a Celebration of Her Life on Tuesday September 9 at 10:00AM at CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES 32992 Mission Blvd in Hayward.
