Thanh Bob Lam's Obituary
Thanh Bob Lam passed away at the age of 58 in his home on Friday August 25, 2017. He and his family immigrated to the United States at the age of 18 in 1978. On the second day of entering the United States, he started his first job as a dishwasher to support his family. He enrolled in vocational school where he pursued to become a machinist. He spent over 25 years of his professional career working for Space System Loral. He was happily married for 31 years to his wife Ann Wong. Thanh is survived by his father Nga, wife Ann, his four children Sirena, Stephanie, Steven, Spencer, one younger brother Nam and five younger sisters – Mai, Carol, Veronique, Chris and Elizabeth. Some of the things he enjoyed most was cooking and eating a variety of dishes with his family. He also loved spending quality time with those closest to him.Our dad instilled us the values of family, humanity and respect. We grew up knowing that we are all loved and well cared for. He was always our number one fan and supported our life decisions. He taught us generosity, thoughtfulness and patience in every challenge or person we encountered. His contagious smile will forever live on in our hearts and will always be remembered. Thank you for being there for us. We love and miss you daddy. #slam4you
