Tessie Dorothy Lee Rodriguez's Obituary
On Friday February 26, 2021, Tessie Dorothy Lee Rodriguez, loving wife, loving mother of two children, and beloved grandmother of three grandchildren, passed away at the age of 75. Her husband and children held her hands and stayed by her side until the very end.
Tessie was born March 25, 1945 in Manila, Philippines to George Lee and Josefa Dyogi. She graduated from Centro Escolar University (Manila, Philippines) in 1968 with a Degree in Accounting. Her accounting career spanned 40 years with companies such as P.A.L.(Phillippine Airlines), Southern Pacific Railways, and Sony. On January 20, 1973 she married Alfredo Rodriguez. They raised 2 sons, Alvin and Alfred.
Tessie took great joy in collecting many trinkets, dolls, and anything miniature. She was drawn to dramas on TFC, mystery shows on Discovery, and Home Shopping networks. Her favorite actor/singer was Elvis Presley. She loved singing along to Elvis songs. Her greatest joy in life were her loving grandchildren AJ, Khy, and Rocco. She never missed an opportunity to shower them with love and presents. Tessie was unselfish and giving to those in need. She had an exuberant almost childlike sense of humor. And candy would make her eyes light up. She loved her family and was always very thoughtful of them. Thank you Mom and we love and miss you dearly.
