TERRY L. VAN DERBEEK TERRY L. VAN DERBEEK Passed away December 21, 2006 in his home in Union City at the age of 47. Beloved husband of Lisa Van Derbeek for 23 faithful years. Beloved father of Jimmy Renteria, Jenna Van Derbeek and Christina Corral of New Jersey. Parents were William C. Van Derbeek and Norma Nelson. Siblings, brother, Larry Van Derbeek of Hayward and sister, Janine Hunt of Oakland. Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dora and George Hernandez; brothers-in-law, George Hernandez Jr. of Atwater and Richard Hernandez of San Jose; sisters-in-law, Rachel Hernandez of Hayward and Irene Hernandez of Tracy. Terry was born in Alameda on July 19, 1959 and raised in San Lorenzo. He married his true love, Lisa, on September 29, 1984 and resided in Union City. He was a custom cabinet maker. His favorite times were camping with his family and being amongst the mountains and lakes. Terry loved coaching baseball, was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, Raiders and A’s fan, family bowler and extremely devoted father. He was deeply loved and respected by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward; 510-471-3363. Burial will follow after services.
