Teresita Mangon's Obituary
Teresita M. Mangon, 89, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Washington Hospital in Fremont, California. She was born in Cabanatuan City, Philippines on April 26, 1930. She was the eldest daughter of Mr. Mariano Mangon and Ms. Asunsion Mempin and sister to two brothers and three sisters. She was the lifelong caretaker and homemaker of the Mangon family in the Philippines and in America. Teresita was lovingly known as “Ninang”, or Godmother, to many.
Teresita devoted her life to providing a warm and loving home for the entire family. She enjoyed raising and babysitting children throughout the years. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and watching food shows. She loved to laugh, tell stories, and was always smiling and cheerful. She will truly be missed.
She is survived by her sisters - Lucila, Adriana, and Ofelia - and many nieces and nephews in America and the Philippines. Those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her kindness and generosity are invited to the funeral services held at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward on February 21, 2020 at 9:00am – 12:00pm.
