Teresa De Jesus Acevedo's Obituary
Teresa De Jesus Acevedo died in Hayward, California on Friday, September 4, 2016.Teresa was born in Granada, Nicaragua on May 30th, 1928 to the parents of Ramon and Genoveba Cordonero Acevedo. She was raised in Malacatoya, Granada. She spent most of her adult life in Nicaragua, there she worked as a nurse and then later as a private chef. She moved to California in 1987 and worked as caretaker for a short while. She looked after her parents until they passed away. In 1999 she had a stroke and had health problems since.She is survived by her sons, Rodolfo, Carlos, Guillermo and daughter Vanessa. Sibilings, Dolores, Aminta, Blanca, Francisco and Cruz grandchildren and great grandchildren.A memorial and burial service will be held on Friday, September 16th at 10:00 am at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward. Followed by a reception.
