Teresa Marie Ansani's Obituary
Teresa Marie Ansani, of Concord CA., passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2020, due to a long battle with cancer.
The funeral services will be held for only close family/friend’s at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, Monday September 21, 2020. Funeral Vue will be offered for those who would like to attend virtually. Details below. Burial will follow the funeral at the same location cemetery.
Teresa was born in Castro Valley, CA. at Eden Hospital. on March 6, 1958. She graduated from San Lorenzo High School in 1976 and continued with several colleges to obtain her Associates Degree in education. Teresa worked for the Stockton and Contra Costa School districts for many, many years as an assistant teacher for special needs children. She loved working with teachers and students until she moved back to the bay area in 2013. Soon after she started working in retail for Home Depot in Pleasanton as a cashier. The support and love from her co-workers and customers were a blessing during her illness.
Teresa enjoyed many hobbies like writing and reciting poems, coloring and painting pictures, listening and dancing to music, attending her churches and most of all eating and visiting with family. She loved her “daughter” dog; Zoey-Sunshine with all her heart!
Teresa is survived by her aunts; Geri Day, & Elaine Henry, Sheila Ansani-Colton, uncle; Danny Lopez, cousins; Renee Mohoff, Julie DeLaCruz, Dina Benigni-Bogaards, and other family and friends.
Teresa is preceded in death by her brother Dino Ansani, her parents; Dolly Housley and Louis Ansani Jr.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation in Walnut Creek, CA., St. Francis Catholic Church, Stockton Children’s Home or Humane Society of USA. The family of Teresa Marie Ansani wishes to thank all her caretakers, nurses, hospice, neighbors and friends for all their love and support during her last months of life.
