Tauosooso Niusulu's Obituary
Tauosooso Logoleo Niusulu (Tau), 62 yrs. old, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, with his loving wife by his side in the comfort of his home in San Lorenzo, California.He was born in Fitiuta Manu’a, American Samoa on July, 12,1955 to the late Tautua Niusulu and Fa’amaile Niusulu Logoleo. He is one of ten siblings; Brothers: Tautua Niusulu(deceased), Semisi Niusulu, Solova’a Niusulu and Rev. Taulago Niusulu; Sisters: Fuakoko Tapafua, Lopi Niusulu(deceased), Leata Siliga, Solota’i (Sima) Niusulu and Maumeni (Mau) Kiliona.Tauosooso was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1975-1984. He was part of the 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division and earned medals and certificates during his service with the military.Tau met his best friend and the love of his life, his wife, Toafa Niusulu(Lua), in Honolulu, Hawaii then moved to California in 1985 where they planted their lives for their family of four kids: Natasha Momotu Niusulu, Lisamarie Tapuina Lautaimi, Tauosooso Ene Niusulu Jr. and Jason Ryan Niusulu. Tau has a daughter-in-law, Pelepiola Niusulu. Tau and Lua have 14 Grandkids: CJ, Sione, Lani, Vee, Alana, Genesys, Nene, Jayla, Damien, Dominique, Money, Tune, Mason and Faith.Tauosooso’s Celebration of Life will take place at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward on Saturday, December 9th 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. On Sunday, December 10th the last viewing of Dad will be 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. We will have a church service up to 12:00 PM and we will lay our Father to rest shortly after the service.Thank you to everyone that has visited us through this journey.
