Tarun D. Shah's Obituary
Tarun Dhirajlal Shah was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Surbhi, an incredible father to Jigar, Mihir and Ankur, a wonderful father-in-law to Akta and Parini, and a doting grandfather to Dannika, Ria, Aamani, Zahra and Ronin.Throughout his life, he demonstrated resilience and great love for his family. Tarun was born on August 21, 1947 in Laktar, India to Dhirajlal and Shardaben Shah. He was one of nine siblings (eight brothers and one sister). From a relatively young age, he helped take care of the children in his family.A new chapter in Dad’s life began in 1973 when he married his love Surbhi. Together they embarked on a journey of new adventures as they moved to California in 1981, and continued to grow their family. In America, Dad used his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Government College in Ratlam to build and successfully run his own business over 35 years.Dad loved singing songs, eating, and playing card games, especially Bukharo. He most enjoyed spending his time in the company of family and friends. He was kind, compassionate and always had a smile on his face. His positive attitude and faith gave him a second chance at life.In his last few years, Dad took the time to travel and visit loved ones all over the country. His one and only wish was that we remain a happy family. We are proud to carry on Dad’s legacy.
