TARA CHAND's Obituary
Sh.Tara Chand left this world on February 11th at the age of 83. He leaves behind 3 sons, 2 daughters, numerous grandchildren, and a wealth of great grandchildren. Born in 1934 in a small village in Punjab, India, Sh. Tara Chand worked hard to provide for his children. Widowed early in his marriage, he endured hardships so his children could be educated. His hardworking nature passed down throughout his family tree. Despite his struggles, he always had a smile on his face. Sh. Tara Chand came to America in 1986 and lived in Newark, CA for 31 years. His greatest treasure was his family who always supported him. He loved to travel, ride his bicycle to the park to meet with friends, and eat home cooked food. Sh. Tara Chand’s funeral is this Sunday, 2/18 from 12:30 pm to 3pm at Chapel of Chimes Hayward with services afterward at Fremont Gurdwara starting at 4pm.
