Tamie Ann Tibbitts' Obituary
Tamie Ann Tibbitts, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, partner, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, surrounded by love.
Tamie dedicated her career to supporting nonprofit, low-income senior housing, where her compassion and commitment touched countless lives. Outside of work, she found joy in RV adventures, cheering for her beloved Oakland A’s, spending time with family and the opportunity to visit Disneyland with all her grandkids — it really was the happiest place on earth for her.
Those who knew Tamie will always remember her enormous heart and her gift for comforting others. She had a way of making everyone feel seen and cared for.
Tamie faced stage 4 breast cancer with incredible strength and positivity since her diagnosis in 2012. A true warrior, she courageously tried almost every treatment available — not just for herself, but for more time with the people she loved so deeply.
Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and love will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Our mom was a true warrior. Even on the hardest days, she found light and hope. She reminded everyone that love and laughter are powerful medicine.
This donation link below is dedicated to her memory — and to all those still fighting this disease with the same courage and determination she showed every day. If you choose to give, you’re honoring her legacy of kindness, strength, and love.
Thank you for helping our family keep her light shining.
