Linda
I just saw in the paper that Judge Ron Hyde passed away and I remembered he was a good friend of Tad’s. I just came across this in a google search. I’m so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I couldn’t find an obituary giving me any details. When your father started his own accounting business I was his first employee in 1968. He and Bev came to my wedding in 1972. My husband and I moved to Kansas for 5 years. When we moved back he gave me my job back. He was partners with Jim Silva at the time. Your dad was great joker. He was always setting me up on his pranks with clients. Sometimes the joke would be on me.lol. I had a lot of fun working for him and he taught me a lot about being a good staff accountant. I retired in 1992 to stay home and raise my son. The last time I saw your dad was at a 4th of July parade in Danville in 1989. He was really involved with the Kiwanis Club and the 4th of July celebrations in Danville. Danville was a small town at the time and I believe your dad knew everyone in town. Again, I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences, Linda Boswell Salsgiver
