SUSAN C. HOPKINS Our fiery redhead passed peacefully into fuhdeems on February 2, 2008. She was born in London, England on March 11, 1929. She followed her soldier husband to the US in 1946 and made it her home. She was preceded in death by the love of her life; Robert Joseph Hopkins. She was a Mom to Lillian E. Torres of Manteca, Bobbi Sue Torres of Fremont, and Julie A. Hopkins of Livermore, and mother-in-law to Gerardo C. Torres, Refugio C. Torres and James L. Hoover (Nan’s personal Chef). She was Nannie to William Sotka, Sylvia Torres, Richard Sotka, Rebecca Torres, Ronald Sotka, Christi Torres-Rogers, Michelle Toland, Jovita Torres, Joseph Torres, and Mark Meinert. Also Nannie to 17 great-grand-children, Morgan, Taylor, Michael, Breana, Shaine, Matthew, Shelbi, Ashlee, Dean, Sydnee, Antonio, Clare, Rylie, Armondo, Alexandria, Gaige and baby Megan who she is holding in heaven. Services to be held Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544 from 4:30-8:30pm.
