Susan Lorraine Garcia's Obituary
SUSAN LORRAINE GARCIA (DUNCAN) Susie passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the age of 56. She was surrounded by family and friends at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, CA when she went to join her mother Reba. She was born and raised in Hayward and lived her whole life there with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, step mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and grandmother. She is survived by many family members, including husband Henry Garcia, daughter Dona Govea, son Leon Martin, father Gene Duncan, brother Edward Duncan, sister Jeannie Griffiths, step children Kimberly and Michael Garcia, and 11 grandchildren Josh, James, Alyssa, Kalei, Isaiah, Ian, Caleb, Alyssa, Kimmie, Chelsea, and Clayton. While her family was her favorite hobby, she loved to play slot machines every chance she could get. She also loved to sing karaoke with family and friends. A Memorial Service for Susie will be held Saturday, February 16th at 4:30, at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, 32992 Mission Blvd. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her honor to the American Heart Association.
