Surjit Kaur Isher's Obituary
Surjit Kaur Isher affectionately known as Biji, age 88, died of natural causes on September 7, 2018. Biji was born is India and dedicated her life to helping her husband serve the local Gurdwara and helping the town residents along with raising her 8 children. In early 2000’s she came to America with her husband to live with her son’s family. She was a strong, independent woman who was very religious. Her interaction with her children, grand children and great grand children were always about the teachings of the Guru and what they tell us about the life we are living and the person we should strive to be. Rest in Peace Biji, we miss you. Please join us Saturday, September 15, 2018 to commemorate the life of Surjit Kaur Isher. The Funeral Service will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Chapel of Chimes, Mission Chapel, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward CA, 94544. The Funeral will be followed by Prayer and lunch at the Fremont Gurdwara, 300 Gurdwara Rd, Fremont, CA 94536.
