Sui Kew Jew's Obituary
Sui Kew Jew, surrounded by loved ones, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2017, in Fremont, California. She was born November 8, 1913 in Hungmeilae Village, Kaiping County, Guangdong, China. As a young woman, she married Wah Lock Jew and had a daughter, Toy Nit Jau(Soo Tuey), and two sons, Kim Tung Jew (Siu) and Kim Toy Jew. In July 1947, with her two young sons, she boarded the USS Gordon and traveled to San Francisco, California to join her husband, and begin a life in America where she made her home in Oakland, California, and had three more children: Sheldon Jew(Joann), Brenda Stam(Butch), and Joyce Green(David). An adored mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her children, 13 grandchildren and their spouses, and 15 great-grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm and funeral services on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 10 am. Both services and interment will be at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd. in Hayward.
