Sudarshan Gupta's Obituary
In her 95 years on this earth, Sudarshan Gupta’s boundless and unconditional love, strength, and resiliency brought light into the lives of everyone who had the honor to know and love her. She dedicated her life to her family and to God, instilling a sense of spirituality and resolve in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
All the grandchildren knew, no matter what time in the morning it was, Nani Ji/Dadi Ji would be awake in her room performing her puja (prayers). We carry fond memories of sitting in her lap and listening to her recite the Gita. We witnessed this familiar heartwarming sight recreated with her great-grandchildren, who endearingly called her Jai Jai and brought her endless joy and strength, particularly in her final days.
She is survived by her 6 children Madhu Amar (Ravnesh Amar), Navin Gupta (Renu Gupta), Asha Vohra (Ashok Vohra), Priti Singh (Ramavtar Singh), Niraj Gupta (Saranga Gupta), Nikhil Gupta (Neerja Gupta), son-in-law Shree Garga, and her 17 grandchildren: Neyha (Sudhir), Nina (Anish), Anshul (Gowri), Kevika, Purva (Sean), Meruka (Vivek), Kernika (Vishal), Ankur (Priyanka), Aparna (Kumud), Gaurav (Nivedita), Kanal, Kakshi (Sundeep), Supaksh, Shalika, Amay, Mayang, and Kavya.
She is also survived by 16 adoring great-grandchildren: Krish, Isha, Kavi, Niam, Laila, Link, Kepler, Rowan, Shail, Anisa, Talin, Veera, Sahana, Kiaan, Shyla, and Zayn.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chandra Prakash Gupta, and daughter, Indu Garga.
