Stephen C. Pacheco's Obituary
Stephen Corderro Pacheco July 10, 1927 – Oct. 28,200 Resident of Manteca Born and raised in Waialua Oahu HI, Stephen was the beloved husband of Herminia L. Pacheco. He is also survived by his loving sons: Stephen Jr., Martin, and Gerald Pacheco; and cherished daughter Maria Devera. He leaves his caring brothers: William, Eddy, and Douglas Pacheco; and a sister Dorothy Gauthier; as well as his devoted grandchildren: Eric, Teana, Roberto, Melissa, Esteban, Ricky, Mireya Carolina, and Jasmine. Stephen bravely served his Country in the Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict. Among his many honors, he received The Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, The Army Occupation Medal, The Good Conduct Medal, and The Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Stars. After the armed forces, Stephen worked for 25 years for the City of San Lorenzo as a heavy equipment operator. A man of many and diverse interests, he counted fishing, gardening, and “building things” among his many passions. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday November 3, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:30pm, and a Celebration of Life on Wednesday November 4, 2009 at 10:00am in the Reflection Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward CA 94544.
