Stephen Franklin McLeod, 84, of Lodi, California, Passed Away Peacefully on December 8th, 2024.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Franklin McLeod, 84, on December 8th in Lodi, California. He was surrounded by family and loved ones in his final days.
Born on September 27th, 1940 in Bronwood, Georgia, Stephen was the beloved son of Samuel and Martha McLeod. He graduated from Terrell County High School and went on to serve in the US Navy, then later in life became the Chief Engineer at Alameda Hospital. Stephen dedicated his life to his family, friends, and profession.
Stephen Franklin McLeod will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, his love for sports -specifically, the Atlanta Braves - and his dedication to his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Elizabeth Pepper McLeod; children, Steven McLeod (Ann) and Denise McLeod (Robert Sereno); Grandchildren, Stephanie Raeman (David) and Michael McLeod; Great Grandchildren, Connor and Kellan Raeman; and siblings, Harriet Osterberger and Robert McLeod (Flora). He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Samuel McLeod, and his youngest daughter, Debra McLeod.
A service to honor Stephen Franklin McLeod’s life will be held on December 19th at 12pm PST. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, CA. Friends and family are welcome to attend to celebrate his memory.
Flowers may be sent to the Chapel of the Chimes, or consider donations to the American Cancer Society, the Wounded Warrior Project, or St. Judes Hospital in Stephen McLeod’s honor.
He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
