Stella Juanita Suazo's Obituary
Stella Suazo, born on December 28, 1936, in Chama, Colorado and was called home to the
Lord on December 11, 2024, in Hayward, California. Her 87 years were surrounded by love,
family, marked with grace, and dedication to her faith.
Stella was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Alfonso and Maggie Sanchez; her
loving husband, Candido Suazo; and her dear daughters-in-law's, Barbara Suazo and
Lorena Suazo.
She is survived by her sister, Anna Mascarenas (Fred), and her brother, Steve Sanchez
(Charlene). Stella's legacy lives on in her children: Jeff Suazo, Margie Lewis (Robert),
Jeremy Suazo (Maria) and Jonathan Suazo. She leaves behind 9 beloved grandchildren and
11 great grandchildren, who will carry forward the love, wisdom and humor she instilled in
their lives.
Stella will be remembered for her welcoming heart, her joyful spirit, and the deep faith that
guided her throughout her life. She found immense joy in cooking and laughing with her
family and friends, who were her greatest pride and comfort. She loved going out to eat
with loved ones, and music played an important part of her life.
