Stanley Hales' Obituary
Stanley (Ray) Hales, 88, resident of San Leandro peacefully transitioned from his earthly bonds and entered into eternal life on December 29, 2019, with his wife, Lorraine, of 48 years by his side. He is survived by his brother, Lyle; Children: Raymond(Glenda), Richard and Deborah; Grandchildren: Lisa, Erin and Stephanie; Great-Grandchildren: Emily, Ryan and Logan. He was also a loving Uncle to Douglas and Steve.
Ray was a Korean War Army Veteran (8/52-6/54), Member of United Steelworkers of America Local 1304 and lifetime member of the VFW, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (San Lorenzo Ward).
A graveside service will be held at the Hayward Chapel of The Chimes on January 10, 2020, for the immediate family. Should you wish to make a donation in his memory, please do so to your favorite charity or the Oakland SPCA--No Flowers Please!
