SOFRONIO SANTIAGO's Obituary
It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of our father, Sofronio “Santi” Ongjiangco Santiago on 28 June 2014 at the age of 94. He lived and led a good life both here and in the country of his birth, the Philippines, where he worked for the US Navy and private companies as an Electrical Engineer. Having served in the Philippine Army (USAFFE) as a Staff Sergeant during World War II enabled him to become a Naturalized U.S. Citizen. He is preceded in death by his parents, Zoilo and Marcela, his 5 brothers and sister, and his oldest daughter, Fidela (Fedy). He is survived by his wife, Victoria, daughters Lina, Mila (Jess Ronquillo), Cecilia (Obbie Barrozo). Delia (Donald Stulc) and Charito, grandchildren Yves Barrozo (Leilani), Yvaine Singhaseni (Mark), Yvette Liesenfeld (Nicholas) and Yvenette Barrozo, great grandchildren Lyla and Ylana Barrozo and Mason Liesenfeld, brothers Cenon Sr. and Oscar, his sisters Fe, Rita, Luz and Rafaela, his brothers- and sisters-in-law, his nieces, nephews and other relatives.
