Silverio Surdilla a Union City, California resident entered into rest January 13, 2003 in Hayward. Born in the Philippines on June 27, 1932, he was 70 years of age. Silverio was an entrepreneur, inventor and handyman. He never was too old to learn. He was a long time parishioner of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. He was an avid fan of tennis and black jack. BSME from the Mapua institute of technology.Dearly beloved husband of Adela Surdilla for 34 years. Loving father of James Surdilla of Irvine, John Surdilla of Union city and Jeff Surdilla of Fremont. Devoted grandfather of three grandchildren.Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2003 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. with a vigil to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral Mass Friday, January 17, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 32223 Cabello St., Union City, CA 94587. Interment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544. Arrangements made by Chapel of the Chimes, 'Service of Marked Distinction'.
