Sidney J. Eoff's Obituary
Sidney J. Eoff passed away into the arms of his savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday April 15th at his home in Ripon CA surrounded by loving family.Sidney was born in Haskell Texas on May 23rd, 1928 as S J Eoff which he later changed to Sidney Joe Eoff when he came to California in 1950.He served two years in the US Army.Early on, Sidney worked at Montgomery Ward in Oakland CA where he met his loving wife Gloria of 61 years. At times he held two jobs to support his growing family then, at 40 years of age, Sidney started his own business, Eoff MFG, Inc, which is still in operation today.Sidney was known for his love of playing pool where he was a top shooter for many years. He had a big heart, a generous nature and a great love for his family and the love for God.Sidney was the last living member of his generation and is survived by his nine children, Pamela (Dave) Hendrickson and two generations of grandchildren, Gary (Laurie) Eoff and three generations of grandchildren, Debra (Mitch) Taber and two generations of grandchildren, Randy (Jenise) Eoff and grandson, Sidney John Eoff Jr. and two generations of grandchildren, Ronald (Angie) Eoff and two generations of grandchildren, Tami (Dan) Christel and two generations of grandchildren, Stephen Eoff, Timothy (Allison) Eoff and grandchildren. There is one deceased son, Dennis (Donna) Eoff with two generations of grandchildren.He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and those who knew him through the years.Viewing will be Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pmFriends and family are invited to a memorial service on Wednesday April 25th at 10 am at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, hayward, CA 94544.
