Shirley Babino's Obituary
Shirley Dale Babino was born on September 23, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the only child of Christine McKinney. Shortly after she was born, she moved to Richmond, California with her parents LeRoy and Christine McKinney. Shirley transitioned from this earthly life on June 9, 2020 to be with the heavenly father, her parents and friends.
Shirley Dale lived in North Richmond and attended Richmond High School. She later attended San Francisco City College before having her sons, Dorian Laurice and Shawn Kenyatta Hadnot.
She married Matthew Perez Babino and would later welcome their daughter Shannon Nicole Babino in 1979. She had a long career with Fairchild Semiconductor in Sunnyvale, California. Then worked as a Foster parent then a Watchmen for the Pacific Maritime Association.
The family moved from Richmond to Union City, California and settled in the Casa Verde neighborhood for many years. She later moved to Hayward before moving to Antioch for the last years of her life.
