Shangara Singh, born Wednesday, October 6th, 1937 in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India; Entered into rest on Sunday, November 10th, 2013 in San Jose, California. Age 76 years.Survived by his loving wife, Gian Kaur. Also survived by his sons, Lakhwinder Singh and Balwinder Singh; by his daughters, Jatinder Kaur and Parneet Kaur, and by his granddaughters, Rajveer Heer Kaur and Jasmit Kaur, and by his grandsons, Karan Singh Heer and Gurman Singh. Predeceased by his parents, Ojagar Singh and Maho Kaur.Prayer Services were held on Sunday, November 17, 2013, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, followed by a Witness Cremation Ceremony at 3:00 pm, at Chapel of the Chimes Reflection Chapel, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544.A private scattering will take place in India, at a later date.
