Serena Gina Aretta's Obituary
Serena Gina (Gallegos) Aretta Left us to become an angel in heaven at age 39, as a result of a 2-year cancer battle. She passed away on July 4, 2009 in Sacramento. Serena was born in Hayward on November 4, 1969 to her parents Steve and Trini Gallegos. She graduated from Sunset High School in Hayward in 1987. She has lived in Sacramento for the past 14 years of her life with her husband and children. Serena was an amazing woman with an incredible outlook on life. She was a positive light to everyone and always made them smile with her contagious laugh. She is survived by her husband Joe and two children, Victoria (15) and Joseph (10). Also, her parents, Steve & Trini Gallegos and her siblings, Theresa Gallegos, Rudy Gallegos, Ruby Gallegos, Sonny Gallegos, 4 nieces and 2 nephews. They all live in Sacramento. The family invites you to attend a Rosary at 6:00pm on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95838 and a funeral mass 10:00am on Friday, July 10, 2009 at Saint Ignatius Church 3235 Arden Way Sacramento, CA 95825. Also a chapel and committal service 1:30pm on Saturday, July 11, 2009 in Hayward, CA at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA 94544.
