Sarojini Sharma's Obituary
Antioch, CA – Sarojini Sharma, age 80, a longtime resident of the Bay Area, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016. She was born and raised in Samabula, Suva, Fiji Islands, daughter of Lallla Govind Singh and Ram Rati, wife of Mr. Daya Nand Sharma, married on Dec 17th, 1955 and widowed on Dec 5th, 1977. She is survived by her two sons, Johnny and Shalendra, daughters-in-law, Kusum and Kajal and four grandsons, Clinton, Richard, Saahil and Saagar, all of whom live in California and Texas and many close family and friends who have brought great joy and fulfillment to her life. In 1970 she immigrated with her husband and two young sons to San Bruno, CA and later moved to Antioch, Ca in 1990. Lovingly called Saroj by her sisters, she was elegance personified who loved spending time with her family, enjoyed shopping, cooking, watching TV, gardening, sewing, always spoke her mind and “did it her way”. She will be greatly missed by all. With love from The Sharma Families Funeral Service on Friday, May 13th ( 9:00 a.m. – noon) at the Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA.
