Salvadore Anthony Quezada August 21, 1925 – July 28, 2011 Resident of Hayward Entered into rest at the age of 85. Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Juanita. Loving Father to Charlotte Johnston (Jim), David Quezada (Jennie), Judy Mohr (Larry), Linda Duarte (Jon). Loving brother to Barney Quezada, Coni Meagher, Lee LaFrance and Lu Quesada. Loving Grandfather to 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son Allen, brother Paul and sisters Josephine Romo, Nickie Loya, Mary Amaral, Carmen Amaral, Vera Freitas and Antonia Quesada. He was a WWII Navy Veteran 1943-46. Before retirement, Sal was a bartender for many years at Banchero’s in Hayward. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children’s Hospital & Research, 2201 Broadway, #600, Oakland CA 94612 or your favorite charity. Viewing Wed., Aug 3rd 5:00-8:00pm Vigil at 7pm, Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Bl., Hayward. Funeral Mass Thurs., Aug 4th 10am at St. Leander Church, S/B 550 W. Estudillo Ave., San Leandro with internment following at Chapel of the Chimes.
