Salvador Reyes Romero's Obituary
Salvador Romero Reyes
9/21/1937 to 2/6/2022
Salvador Romero was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was born in Zinaparo, Michoacan, Mexico to Maria Reyes and Antonio Romero. He had eight brothers and sisters. Salvador and his family migrated to the United States for a better life and lived in Hayward, CA for over 48 years.
He went into eternal rest on Sunday, February 6, 2022 surrounded by his wife and children in San Francisco, CA. Salvador is survived by his wife of 62 years, Aurora Romero, his children, Jose S. Romero, Gerardo Romero, Aurora Romero-Vaca, Pilar Esqueda, Belen Romero, Mayra Romero and Noemi Romero-Rodrigues, as well as eighteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and our family dog who he truly loved.
He was a humble man with a huge heart that truly cared for others and lived by the “golden rule”. Salvador was devoted to God and the Catholic church. He served at St. Clements and St. Bede’s catholic churches. He enjoyed gardening, watching A’s games on TV and watching classic Mexican movies with his all-time favorite actor and singer, Pedro Infante.
Salvador loved to play his harmonica and sing for his family at special gatherings. He will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him and anyone his heart touched in the 84 years God granted him.
Descanse en paz papá (rest in peace dad). Hasta que nos vuelvamos a ver (until we see each other again).
