"Sally" Ruth Anthonia Blake's Obituary
“Sally” Ruth Anthonia Blake, 75, of Hayward, CA passed away on Sunday morning, February 24, 2019. She was born in Smackover, AR on October 25, 1943. Ruth graduated from Chabot College with multiple Associate of Art degrees in graphic design and early childhood education. She had a career in early childhood education as a pre-school teacher. Ruth was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had a passion for art. Some of her creative pursuits included drawing, design, sewing, and singing. She is survived by her children, David Blake and Emily Blake, and her grandchild Jaden Blake, as well as her sisters Mary Sellers, Nancy Morris, Grace Hillard-Jones, and her brother Richard Furqueron. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Saturday March 9, 2019 at 2000 Highland Blvd., Hayward CA 94542 and she will be laid to rest at 12:30 pm at Chapel of the Chimes.
