Ruth S. Quintana's Obituary
Resident of San Leandro Ruth Quintana passed away peacefully on April 16, 2008, in her home in San Leandro, California at the age of 84. She’s preceded in death by her late husband William G. Quintana, February 17, 1990; her daughter, Alice B. Crump-ton, July 24, 1981; and her granddaughter Kimberly Ann Kelleghan, April 5, 2008. Ruth is survived by her children: Ted Quintana, Patricia Spicer, Agnes Zafiratos, Renee Freitas and their spouses. She is survived by nine grandchildren and two great granddaughters: Rick and Rod Spi-cer, Alex, Nadia and Gina Quintana, Marcus Freitas, Nic-holas, Sophia and Danny Zafiratos, Shannon and Ste-phanie Kelleghan and their father Stephen Kelleghan. Additionally, Ruth is survived by her two sisters, Emma Perea and Gayle Sandoval and her brother Sabino Martinez. Ruth was a wonderful mother who loved her children and their families very much. Her family was the world to her. She loved being in the garden and taking care of her flowers and enjoyed cooking dinners for the family. She will be deeply missed by all. Family and friends are invited to CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA for visitation on Tuesday, April 22nd, from 5:30- 8:30 with Rosary at 7:00.
